Wes Anderson for H&M: Come Together

We've seen Wes Anderson partner with high-fashion brands like Prada before, but this holiday he is working with H&M and produced a short film starring Adrian Brody. The short film, Come Together, depicts train passengers traveling to meet their families and loved ones for the holidays and they've run into dreaded travel delays. We are so delighted to see a larger brand like H&M moving away from your stereotypical, holiday-neutral tagline this season and working with a creative like Anderson.

Preposterous – A short about absurdity

Speaking as the clumsy one in the studio, accidents happen, but the outcome is always somewhat predictable, a dropped glass usually means a broken glass. Florent Porta decided to rethink that in his newest short Preposterous. The short illustrates seemingly obvious scenes that turn out very different than what you would expect and what a delight it is.

Kimou 'Grotesk' Meyer X Case Studyo: A Bigger Big Poppa

Case Studyo and Kimou 'Grotesk' Meyer have teamed up to create a new version of the Notorious B.I.G Fuck a Dollar and a Dream sculpture which debuted in 2015. At more than twice the size of the OG sculpture, A Bigger Big Poppa is an edition of 8 pieces and will be available tomorrow, November 28, 2016. Kimou wanted to capture exactly what made Biggie such a unique voice and distinctive stylist; “I wanted to pay homage to Biggie by getting to the essence of his personality,” Meyer says.

Wanted: Defender 90

We spend a fair amount of time admiring well designed things and one thing that we've never been drawn to is the automobile. For the most part cars are sort of just a caricature of smooth and over exaggerated lines, nothing really spectacular. But for us, there is one car that is the pinnacle of all car design and that is the Land Rover Defender. Website Cool & Vintage who specializes in resorting vintage cars recently listed what has to be our dream Defender 90. This 2003 Defender has been rebuilt from the ground up with everything considered from the paint to to the perfectly square quilted leather seats.

OK Go: The One Moment

OK Go has been known for their music videos that er on the side of art productions that could be seen in any contemporary art museum. OK Go has just released their newest video for The One Moment that does not let us down and perhaps might be our favorite to date. although their piece for This Too Shall Pass holds a special place for us. We won't do the video any justice trying to recap or explain it, so just hit play after the jump.

Kinfolk Magazine redesign by Alex Hunting Studio

Kinfolk Magazine has always been an advocate for a clean, minimalistic design approach that aims highlights photography and art without distracting the reader. We're guessing that it must have been quite a daunting task when it came to refresh the printed magazine and website for Kinfolk. Without much surprise, it was executed just how we hoped. Kinfolk teamed up with Alex Hunting Studio for the rework out of London.

Summerland Ceramics

Perhaps it is because we are located in one of eight states that recently legalized recreational marijuana, but we have taken a new interest in the sticky icky. There is a whole new design movement rethinking tie-dye and majestic glass, leading that charge is Summerland Ceramics. Based in Northern California, Summerland's approach to getting lifted is refreshing, we'd proudly display any of their bongs or pipes like artwork. Summerland even debuted an artist series featuring some of our favorites like Ryan De La Hoz and Clay Hickson. And for all of you patriots, all their products are proudly made in the USA.

Plain Pins

We have a special place on our wardrobe for our enamel pin collection, but somedays a kitsch pin just isn't what you need. Plain Pins specializes in just that, plain pins, offering an assortment of geometric and primary colored pins. Created by sisters, Victoria and Sarah, who want to celebrate color and simplicity through easy to wear enamel pins for every day. Plain Pins are made in the UK using hard enamel and gold plating for a little extra flair.

The Best Last Best Plane Ride Ever

Victory Journal has released their newest animated feature, The Best Last Best Plane Ride Ever, recreating the Mets' infamous postgame Pennant victory celebration. From champagne in the jacuzzi to the destruction of a perfectly good Ozark Airlines DC-10 airplane, who better to chonicle this experience than James Blagden who directed, illustrated, and animated the piece. We've seen James work with Victory before on marvelous pieces like Dock Ellis & the LSD No-No.

NASA – Past and Present by Benedict Redgrove

Photographer Benedict Redgrove unveiled his latest project; Past and Present Dreams of the Future, which has been in the making for the last 6 years. Benedict has spent the better part of the last decade capturing and surveying Nasa tech. Benedict has photographed everything from space shuttle Atlantis, the Vehicle Assembly Building, the Orion Crew Module, Apollo and Mercury era capsules. Benedict has been working in collaboration with Wired UK and the work will culminate with a show coinciding with the launch of the new SLS rocket in 2018.

Leica Sofort

We've been big fans of the Fuji Instax for a while, but that might be changing since Leica has introduced an instant camera. Known for their ridiculously priced and meticulously hand made cameras, Leica debuted the upcoming Sofort, releasing sometime in November. Priced at $300 the Sofort is actually a competitor with the Impossible Project's 1-A. I guess Leica wasn't happy with Fuji and IP drinking their milkshake, and look how much fun these people are having in their promo video.

Peppertan

Exercise is not a priority in our lives here at Eventhree, how could we ever make time for that? Peppertan is a new production company and they are tackling how style and aesthetically minded people can exercise through culture. Peppertan has created an amazing series of instructional exercise videos that are part Wes Anderson and part Donna Summers.

Neue Design Studio for the Norwegian Passport

Perhaps it is because we're in the middle of applying for Global Entry and TSA Pre-check, but wow are the passports in the USA poorly designed. Today we turn to the Norwegian Passport, possibly the epicenter of all things beautifully designed. In February 2014 the Directorate of the Police and The National Criminal Investigation Service (KRIPOS) put an open call to redesign the Norwegian Passport and Neue Design Studio won the competition. The design is arguably exactly what you'd expect for the Norwegian Passport to be, and that is a great thing.
