The Bay Lights

We were lucky enough to attend the opening ceremony for the Bay Lights project this past Tuesday. The Bay Lights project was concieved by artist Leo Villareal, his vision was to attached 25,000+ individually programed LED lights to the Bay Bridge. The light sculpture is over 1.8 miles long and 500 feet tall, the largest in the world. The project will run until 2015, estimated to generate over 100 million dollars in tourism revenue.
