The Data Center Mural Project

The term The Cloud gets thrown around a lot, its in the cloud, cloud computing, blah blah blah, in reality the elusive cloud is just a series of massive computer farms. With plenty of computer farms on hand, Google invited artists to interpret what happens on the inside of these data centers and paint it on the outside. Complete with an interactive website, Google has dubbed the project The Data Center Mural Project. With 2 murals complete, 2 currently in progress and 11 more data centers untouched, Google is hoping to expand the project and we can't wait to see what's to come.

T.SQ Newsstand

Perhaps this has been in the making since 2009, with a few dormant years, but finally, on October 18, 2015, the Juxtapoz x Victory Journal "T.SQ Newsstand" opened in Times Square, New York City. Here are a few of the amazing photos that were captured during the 10 day residency on 44th street and 7th ave. All photos by Brian Kelley.

We were all to happy hear from longtime friend and art legend INSA, who has been traveling the world creating incredible animated GIFs. Painting these massive murals frame by frame, INSA creates these captivating animations and we just can't get enough of them. Bridging the gap between public art and the Internet seems like an impossible challenge, but INSA is on it. We can't wait to see what INSA comes up with next.
